 Scouts /Guides and NCC

Scouting  & Guiding activities are Integral Part of Vidyalay Calander.
At present one unit of Cubs , one unit of Bulbuls ,two units of Guides
and three units of Scouts are running in the Vidyalaya. Thinking Day, 
Sadbhawana Diwas ,One Day Camp and Community services are some
 of the main features the activities.
Besides it Scouts and Guides participate in the Testing Camps held 
time to time at diffrent venues.
 
252nd National Adventure Programme

National Adventure Institute Pachmarhi organised 7 days Adventure Programme
 for Scouts & Guides. It was 252nd NAP which was held w.e.f. 17th May 2011
 to 23rd May 2011.
 So Scouts of our school with escorts Mr. J.S. Rawat (PRT) had joined the
 same with other KVs of Dehradun Region and Mumbai Region.
So many activities were performed there during those 7 days including stay
 in tents, shooting with riffles and pistles, horse riding, archery, crossing
 carious obstacles and hurdles, trekking on various historic and beautiful 
places like Pandav Guphas, Be Fall, Mahadev Temple, Jata Shankar etc.
Scouts had enjoyed these days very much and learnt so many life skills of 
surviving in various adverse situations.
Food quality was very good there the instructors of NAI were so experienced 
and talented there. They taught various life skills by teaching and showing the Scouts.
These 7 days were be remembered to the participants throughout their lives.
