REPORTS GAMES & SPORTS
• SGFI Coaching camp of boxing for KVS boys team of all age groups organised in
month of December 2010. First time in the history of KVS students won Gold,
one Silver and one Bronze medal.
• 10 days coaching camp were organised in the month of May 2011 for Handball,
Basketball, Volleyball, Throw ball.
• Annual Sports Day was celebrated on 27 april 2011
• A new Basketball court is under construction.
Games & Sports Activities
2010-11
Going by the proverbial saying, “All work and no play make Jack a dull boy” we have tried to
make education to be an interesting process thorough sports. This year our Vidhyalaya
participated in various games and sports. Boys participated in Hand Ball, Volley Ball, Cricket,
Foot Ball, Chess and Athletics upto Regional Level. Our Cricket team got third position in
Regional Level and two boys were selected for KVS National Level. Boys Hand Ball team
stood first in Regional Level and four boys were selected for KVS National Level.
One boy was selected in Skating for National Level. One student of our vidhyalaya was selected
for SGFI level in the game of handball.
Girls participated in Hand Ball, Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Chess and Athletics upto Regional Level.
Our Hand Ball and Basket Ball girls’ team secured third position in regional level and six girls
were selected for National Level Games.
Our Vidyalaya was instructed to conduct girls Volley Ball, Hand Ball and Basket Ball competitions
at Regional Level and it is a matter of great pleasure that all the competitions were conducted
successfully. This activity was followed by Regional Level Coaching Camp in all the three disciplines
for the participating in National Level. One more honour was conferred on us, when we were given the
responsibility of conducting coaching camp for SGFI Level, Boxing Competition in all the
three groups (U - 14, 17, 29).
